July 1, 2015SpaceFitters hosted an Earth Day tour of Electronics Recycling processing for a group of 32 children from the Cobb School in Simsbury CT. The children, ages 5 to 8 years old, enjoyed an animated tour that included live demonstrations of the disassembly and separation of computer equipment, baling of cardboard, and compaction of plastics and poly foam materials. Teaching children the discipline of recycling at this young age will be with them as they develop into productive adults.
We were pleased to host this highly energized group of students and have the opportunity to share our company with them.
